" I believe that I read somewhere a while ago that women considered beautiful (according to some study) accounted for 7% of women. I know it was somewhere in the single digits. Women considered pretty were about 15-20% of all women. Men, in general, are slightly less attractive than women. 13% or so of men were considered handsome. There have actually been scientific studies done that show that attractive people have more daughters. This is probably because attractiveness in women is of greater evolutionary value than attractiveness in men. This was, I believe based on faces, not on bodies, with facial attractiveness following some pretty universal formulas in human beings. "
