Omphalotus nidiformis or ghost fungus is primarily found in Australia

Ghost Fungi (Omphalotus nidiformis)

Eukaryotic microorganisms possess, without exception, nuclei, organelles and are included within the Eucarya domain. In addition they are classified in microscopic algae, among which we find the main groups of euglenoid algae, diatoms and pyrrophytes; the group of protozoa which we can classify according to their locomotion, reproduction and other characteristics such as the habitat in which they live and finally the group of microscopic fungi that are unicellular or multicellular eukaryotic organisms of heterotrophic nutrition and that lack photosynthetic pigments. These can be classified according to their nutrition in saprophytic fungi, parasites and according to their number of cells in unicellular or pluricellular.
