That’s one thing I’d never even consider. Anyone thinking about getting into the cage with Fedor should watch how the fights with Arlovski and Rogers ended. And they were 240 pound plus professional fighters.
I remember they found a club bum boxer named Peter McNeely as Mike Tyson's comeback opponent in '95 when Tyson got out of prison. McNeeley made around $500k for that 90 second fight. He just ran at Tyson and tried to get his licks in. But he didn't die in the ring. He got rocked and knocked on his butt but he was ok at the end of it. Still got a good paycheque.
Boxers, even bum boxers, have incredibly strong necks and know what to do when a punch is coming. If you roll with a punch and have some resistance to snapping your neck back, you have a much better chance of surviving that Fedor punch. Some idiot in the crowd would have a very good chance of brain damage or worse.
