" In ancient times there were two hawaiian warrior chiefs on the battlefield. One developed a great notoriety as a powerful warrior who slew all the opponent's that challenged him. On this day there was a battle and the notorious chief killed a bunch of high ranking warrior chiefs. So they sent out their best to try and kill him. These two chiefs fought at a distance at first but no spears landed their mark. Story has it that the battle had stopped to watch these two fight. As they got closer to one another the notorious chief kept taunting the other, and soon he fell into a rhythm, hopping from his front leg to back, shifting his weight. The other chief stood back for a short time and studied this. And just as Lyoto did, he waited till the other chief was shifting his weight from one foot to the other, he launched his spear at the perfect time, while he was in mid air, and could not move any other way, and slew him straight through the gut. "
